Dear Members and Supporters,

Following the recommendation of the NB Chief Medical Officer of Health to avoid large gatherings and directives from the francophone school district, the Green Party of New Brunswick is postponing its Convention and Annual General Meeting planned for March 14th and 15th until further notice.

The in-person Convention planned is cancelled however as an alternative we are offering online workshops on Saturday that you can join. We will share a message with all our members with instructions to join the webinars.

We need to take these precautionary measures for the health and safety of our communities and to support our health system. Please be sure to cancel any travel and lodging arrangements you have made. We apologize for any inconvenience.

About your registration fees.

Everyone has the option to:

1-Transfer your registration fees into a donation subject to a provincial tax credit. At the time of our future AGM, registration fees will be waived for those who registered and did not request a refund.

Or

2-Request reimbursement (but we must retain a 5% processing fees to cover bank charge and payment processor fees.) Please send an email to [email protected] to request your refund with the subject line indicating AGM REFUND.

Saturday, March 14th: Green Party of New Brunswick Annual Convention 9am-5pm. 
Registration opens at 8am
Open to the public. Lunch* and refreshments will be provided. 

This will be a full day of workshops, our Campaign School, and meaningful exchanges with the purpose of helping us deliver a historic electoral performance. Get to know your fellow Green Party of New Brunswick members and learn new skills to participate effectively in the next general election. 

Saturday night:

Green Drinks @ Picaroons Roundhouse - 912 Union Street, Fredericton, New Brunswick E3E 5M5. 

This event is free of charge and open to the public. 
Network and socialize with your MLAs and other green-minded change-makers from across the province and beyond. 

Sunday, March 15th: Annual General Meeting (AGM) 9am-12:30pm, Registration opens at 8:30am

Consult the 2020 AGM Agenda
Green Party of New Brunswick members only. Refreshments will be provided.
Participate in your democratic opportunities as a member** and seek election to the provincial council, etc.

**To be able to participate in decisions, you must have been a member for at least 14 days, i.e. since March 1, 2020.

Full Weekend:

            Members: $45 (or contribute $90 or more**)
            Students or unwaged supporter: $20

Saturday Convention Only:

            Members: $35 (or contribute $90 or more**)
            Non-members: $45  (or contribute $100 or more**)

Sunday AGM Only: $10

**Attend for Free by Making a Donation

Instead of paying fees, you can attend the convention for free by making a donation of $90 or more on the registration page.  Contributions qualify for non-refundable tax credits so your actual cost to attend the convention may be much less.  It's a good way to save a few dollars while supporting the Green Party of New Brunswick.

For example, your first donation of $100 this year will give you a non-refundable tax credit of $75.
